Crack per DRM? BSkyB sospende la TV web

Da punto informatico  la notizia che craker hanno nuovamente violato il sistema di protezione dei diritti di Microsoft. Su Itunes la cosa anche avviene regolarmente. La domanda che mi faccio: riusciranno mai a trovare una soluzione per impedirlo? Io penso di no: la chiave non è nella difficoltà di superare un blocco, che anzi diventa una sfida, ma nella semplicità e convenienza, P2P docet.

MySpace To Sell Music Online

The Internet’s leading online social networking site, MySpace, will this fall begin selling songs from millions of aspiring bands that use the site to promote themselves with special band profiles. All music will be sold in MP3 format–which allows downloaders to transfer tracks to portable devices, including Apple’s iPods, and CD discs. Unlike Apple Computer’s iTunes, which sells songs for a flat 99 cents per track, MySpace will allow labels to set their own prices.

SCI FI unveils broadband video channel

SCI FI Channel has embraced the Internet of the future. The cable network’s programming hit the Web this month on its new broadband video channel, SCI FI Pulse. The new site will feature complete episodes of select SCI FI original series, full-length uncut SCI FI original movies, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, and interactive viewer programming.

The new site is the largest of several new online ventures from SCI FI and parent company NBC Universal.
