Mobile war
Monday, April 27th, 2009I was reading Mashable’s post (Hey iPhone Users, Android Isn’t Dead Yet!) on how there is a critical market level after which Android will be a serious competitor for Apple Appstore.
But Android it is not the only player who is investing a lot (above all Nokia and Microsoft). Each of them have its propertary platform that means that developers must build applications on 3 (at least) differents technology.
My conclusion is that we will soon see what we had on the PC market where, notwithstanding an absolute leadership position (Microsoft), the power of the Net brought a global standard technology (web applications and web services) which are influencing every new software (office automation, entertainment, gaming, social).
